Mon- Thursday - By appointment only
Friday - Open from 9am - 6pm
Saturday - By appointment.
Do I need to make an appointment?
Yes, we work by an appointment only system except on Fridays were we have an open door between 9-6pm.
You can drop off and collect alterations. I would advise that if you have more than 2 garments and need to try them on then maybe it would be best to make a midweek or evening appointment as it can get very busy on a Friday.
Is the appointment free?
Yes, all appointments are free unless after 6pm weekdays. We charge £10 for this service.

I work all day, do you offer evening and weekend appointments?
Yes we can meet you after 6pm most evenings and we charge £10 for an appointment Alternatively you can make an appointment for a Saturday
How do I pay?
All payments for alterations, dressmaking & Tailoring must be paid in advance. We accept cash, credit or debit card. We also accept Bacs.
How long will my alteration take to be mended?
1 week turnaround for clothing alterations unless agreed otherwise.
Do you offer a fast mend service?
Yes we do offer a fast mend service, we charge £5 on top of your alteration cost for this service.
Do you have a changing area?
Yes we have a beautiful and comfortable changing area with a large wall mirror.
How much notice do you need to make a garment?
approximately 8-10 weeks for garments, However, we do advise all Wedding, Groom tailoring and Bespoke Wedding dresses to be booked at least 12-15 weeks before the big day.

Do you have parking facilities?
No we don't have any private parking facilities but you can street park if there's a space. We would advise customers to use the car park by Newent Lake or the large co-op car park if you cant find one.
we knocked the door and you didn't answer?
Apologies if you have tried to catch me in the studio but haven't gotten an answer. It is likely that we are in a dress, Tailoring fitting OR we are out. we aren't always there everyday. please call ahead or make an appointment to make sure we are there.
I dropped a garment off but I haven't heard back.
Please see your invoice ticket for collection information. If your invoice doesn't have a date then I would advise you get in touch to arrange collection.
I forgot about a garment that I had altered 6 months ago! do you still have it?
we will try to get in touch with you before we re-home your garment and we do keep garments up to 6 months. After this date we send them to the charity shop.
I have lots of alterations that need mending, Do you offer discount on bulk alterations?
Yes we do! we offer a 10% discount on any 5+ garments that you bring in.
Can I drop the money in later for my alterations?
No, please pay for your goods when you drop off your garments. last year we were left with 17 unpaid tickets.
